the new apple

He seemed too good to be true. It has only been two weeks. Actually it was only six days. He seemed to be the perfect one. In only a few days time he had gained her trust. She trusted him. She feel she could. She wanted to tell him everything, everything that had happened, all the histories, every single one of them in detail, so he know and understand, so he can justify her acts and behaviour. So he can back her up and stand up for her.

However her inner voice kept whispering to her to stay put and do not rush things. Wait and see what happens, time will tell. Yes, time will definitely tell. The previous experience taught her to be careful. She is keeping her fingers crossed, hoping and praying things will turn out fine. The inner voice is reminding her to take things one at a time.

It all began with a phone call from him. She couldn't recognised his voice until he mentioned his name. He sounds good on the phone. Soft and calm. It can be sweet, it can be romantic. It has been quite a while since she hears such a good voice on the line. She is hoping for more telephone conversations with him. Even his text messages seemed sweet.

She wonders why she is feeling this way. She had always managed to stay cool in the past. Maybe this time he is really the one. Maybe he just had his special ways. Maybe she is just vulnerable, recently she has been stressed out from work. Maybe she is just being bitchy. She do not know why she trusted him. She feel safe when he's around. Maybe she just need someone to talk to, someone to hear her out. Maybe she is just too dependant and need someone to depend on and he seemed to be able to provide her that. Maybe she has fallen for him. It must be because the previous experience was so bad so when a new one came along she just grabbed hold of the opportunity. And because the old red apple was so bad it made this new green one look so good. Ah, she is just trying to justify the reason.

She had a feeling both of them are going to work things out together and be good partners. She is keeping her fingers crossed.

She can't wait to see him again tomorrow.
