The meaning is kind of deep, to me, at this moment, perhaps I need to be older and wiser to fully grasp what it meant.

We are here to add what we can to life, not to get what we can from it. We make a living by what we get, we make a living by what we give. We must be willing to let go of the life we have planned, so as to have the life that is waiting for us.
