survival to the "revolution"
It has only been a month or so but it feels a lot longer than that. Grey moments always seemed to crawl. And you dread going through it every day.
Day by day you see the same person; the person who came and ripped away your privileges and rights, asked for your help yet reluctant to support when comes to it, treated you as a nobody. The person who suck-up to the big shots and failed miserably with the minors. The person who thinks he's the best and greatest of all when he could not even do a simple thing right. The person has a big ego, wanted to turn everything upside down and change for the better.
Not a day goes by without you thinking about this. It is constantly in your mind, like you have been poisoned, you wanted to push it away yet the poison flows in your blood. You need detox. You are emotionally affected by this person. You kept asking yourself why. Why why why... You tell yourself that if he is such an asshole then not to bother about him and do your part. But he keep pushing you to the limits.
You hate that he came stole and destroyed everything you have worked for. You wanted so so much to confront him, to scold and yell at him in the face! You wanted to humuliate him in front of everybody for being so stuck-up! Yet, you can't... down goes the anger you have to swallow your pride.
The father warned you of such person being a thick face black heart. You are cautious of every single movement he made, in fact too conscious that it is driving you mad, exhaustion. Argh, you hate politics, you hate pretenders.
There are moments when you feel like quitting. Leaving everything behind so you do not have to care anymore, the best part is you do not have to see him anymore. But then, what about all the hard work you have done for the past year? What about all the standards and processes that you have set which contributed to the success today? It might not be much to others but you feels like you have done so much and it is hard to let go.
You need help, but who can help? They can only advise, the rest is up to you. And you doubt if you can survive this.
